The excitement came today, finally.
It has been months since I'vee been shopping for this watch in attempt to find the best price deal, checking from online deals at various websites to travelling to Singapore in June 2011. The price per unit at Singapore was outrageously expensive at SIN650 and nothing to talk futher after conversion to RM. The online was a better deal, at some, you can purchase at USD350 and shipping will take a couple of weeks.
Anyway, am glad that I hold my horses for the past several months and finally through Ravi's connection, we got the best deal so far. Today, I will make a purchase through Ravi as he is going to pick up 3 units from the Garmin agent at incredible price of RM1,129.50 per unit. The gang members will soon understood its goodies that I have been talking about.
My previous GRS running watch was a Suunto M4 that Gopi got me as a present from the US in 2008. That was a bad ass watch and it worked brilliantly for me but only for a while until some idiots broke into my house and stole it. Since then, I have been wearing a cheap stop watch to keep my running time.
Anyhow, with this new gadget on our wrist, running will be more interesting for us now.
